Ideal to take power from the light socket with typical uses in extension lights or Christmas tree lights.
As ours are made from modern Bakelite they are rated at 5Amps and fitted with strong secure screw terminals.
As with all B22 fittings these are NOT earthed.
For your own safety do not power more than the given rating and only one connection per device. ..
